From the back page of [last] week's PGN. Maybe [fewer] "bumps" would help them remember the difference between plural and possessive. A little kerning wouldn't hurt either.
The guy has a point, but we've got to admit – it's not going to stop us from enjoying Bump martini specials!

I suppose it could be a contraction -- Saturday is buy 1 entree get one free (night), etc. But it might not be...
no, it could definitely be possesive. the saturday's "buy 1 get 1 free" is back by popular demand.
- tuesday is pitcher night
- tuesday's pitcher night
- tuesdays: pitcher night
the last one is assumed because of the contrasting text colors.
Obviously, they are listing each day's specials. So it could easily be short for "Saturday's special," "Tuesday's special", etc. etc. The possessive is entirely appropriate here.
Saturday's: wise-cracking nitpicking Texans who think they know how everybody from every other culture ought to act without considering that rules of etiquette may radically differ from culture to culture and are subject to more than her reflexive Texan-Jewish prejudices, 50 cents
Tuesday's: mildly playful griping, moaning, and teasing, free
These proofreading segments are ridiculous! There's nothing worse than having to actually re-read a supposedly-crazy proofreading mistake to actually find what phillyist is talking about. (I agree: it's a mistake. That's the best you could find? It can easily be coaxed into correctness.) Guess what, phillyist: misuse of the possessive is not worth the price of the bandwith your IP is served on!
Not to mention, I do, as the first guest suggested, use the contraction when talking about my plans for a particular day. Sunday'(i)s brunch, for example.
