A steaming hot pile of our favorite things from around the internets.

- The internet is pretty much all Transformers, all the time these days. The latest morphing robot fun comes from Cracked and their list of The 7 Most Useless Transformers Ever. (Via)
- Wow, this weekend is the 60th anniversary of the Roswell Incident. What really happened? Will we ever know for sure? Why not head out to New Mexico and see if you can find out? If you do, please report back before the Men in Black get to you.
- A number of blogs we read have posted video of the Cloverfield trailer, but by the time we get around to clicking play, the video has already been taken down. Luckily, there are official things to check out that aren't likely to suddenly disappear, like the two viral puzzle sites linked right here.
- E3 is almost here! Game|Life has some predictions about what will happen there, one of which appears to have already been proven true - that being the PS3 price cut. Then again, Sony is denying any such price cut. Meanwhile, Joystiq has a handy list of the games that various publishers will be showing off.
- Shiny Shiny has a nice collection of videos for their Friday fun post. We've posted one of these before, but the rest were new to us. We particularly like the slightly NSFW commercial for the European film industry.
- Dennis Hopper says he might be back for Speed 3! Although... he might be high. And didn't he blow up in Speed or something anyway?
- Perhaps you loved Alvin and the Chipmunks and hoped to God they wouldn't ruin the characters when they made the new live-action/CGI movie. Or perhaps you hated Alvin and the Chipmunks and figured they couldn't make them any worse in the new movie. Either way... you were wrong!
- Apparently Ben Affleck has decided he wants to be in a good movie again and has started writing another screenplay with buddy Matt Damon.
- Strange Horizons have some stories they don't want to hear again, thank you very much. There's also a special, separate list for the horror genre. (Via)
- We thought the UMD was pretty much a dead format at this point, but apparently Sony is still standing behind it. Heh. Good old Sony.
- The Movie Blog has posted the touching story of one man who changed his name to that of his childhood hero. That hero being, of course, Megatron.
- Sometimes Canadians do something really brilliant, and this is one of those times: there's a service in Winnipeg now that delivers both pizzas and adult videos. They just slip the videos under the pizza and check your ID at the door.
- Bob Hoskins has let slip that Robert Zemeckis and is going to make yet another film adaptation of A Christmas Carol, but this one will star Jim Carrey. We can think of only one proper response to this news: NNNNNNOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!
- We may be a bit of a snob for not liking Transformers, but at least we're not this grumpy idiot over at the Guardian who's saying that all of American cinema is just not that good, never has been, and European cinema is way better.
- Word is, there's a wedding scene in Indy 4. Hmm...
- We don't even remember hearing that Tim Burton was directing a movie called Ripley's Believe It or Not, starring Jim Carrey, and now it sounds like Burton's off the job and Michel Gondry might be replacing him.
