It's Bloggeriffic!

As you may or may not have heard by now, there's going to be a huge gathering of the minds right here in Philadelphia next week. "What minds?" you might ask. Well, minds just like yours, which is to say: blogger minds.
Thursday and Friday of next week will mark the first-ever BlogPhiladelphia "unconference," an opportunity for bloggers in the greater Philadelphia area and beyond to convene and chat about blogging and all other things social media. Not only is it an opportunity to learn a lot, but it's also a chance for you to meet a wide array of Philly bloggers – yours truly included.
The conference is being held at the Raddison Plaza-Warwick Hotel in Rittenhouse, and it's free, so even if you can't devote two whole days to the BlogPhiladelphia goings-on, you can register and just show up when you've got an hour or two to spare. Plus, there's on-site WiFi, so you can call in to the office, tell everyone you'll be working from home that day, and stay connected, even while you learn how to do things like keeping your blogs and your social media life separate (we thought they were one and the same!) or creating podcasts or (gasp!) how to get paid to blog. (The WiFi serves a special bonus purpose if you feel like getting meta and liveblogging from the blogging unconference. More info on that here.)
Annie Heckenberger of the GPTMC and one of BlogPhiladelphia's organizers tells us that they'd like to close registration at the end of the day today. So hurry up and register – they'll even feed you!

Free with Registration

Thanks for the shout-out, Jill! Registration for BlogPhiladelphia ends Monday, so be sure to register at www.blogphiladelphia.net.
And yes, while it is free, we do encourage attendees to stay for the full day rather than dropping in and out. (Helps us with head counts for various needs, helps you to get the most out of the conference.)
See you there!!
Thanks for posting this information, I am definitely going to attend the first day. Confessions of a Paparazzi
