  • Joystiq found a video tutorial on how to make your very own Dr. Zoidberg Mii! Fantastic!
  • There's yet another trailer for FF2 out, and it's... quite good! Yeah, we're still convinced Jessica Alba is terrible in that role, but there's some really cool stuff in here, especially the bits where they're swapping and sharing powers. (Via)
  • A while ago there was a rumor going around that Karen Allen might reprise her role as Marion in the new Indy movie. Now Allen is claiming she has not been contacted about such a possibility, but would love to do it. Cinematical doesn't quite believe her.
  • A remake of The Women has been in the works for quite a while now, but it looks like things are really coming together now. They have a start date (August 6) and a nearly final cast (yes, all female, as in the original) which will apparently include Meg Ryan, Candice Bergen, Annette Bening, Eva Mendes, Jada Pinkett Smith, and Debra Messing.
  • It's time for another creepy murderous kid movie! Joshua looks even creepier than usual. You can check out the trailer on the official site here. (Via)
  • Rumor is now that Neil Gaiman may actually be directing that film adaptation of his graphic novel, Death: The High Cost of Living.

  • Think you have what it takes to face off against the best gamers in the world in the World Cyber Games competition? Well, you can sign up for an online qualifying tournament via the Circuit City website, right here. If you make it in, we'd appreciate it if you wear a Phillyist T-shirt to all events. (Via)
  • Fortune magazine has a cover story about how well Nintendo is doing financially in their latest issue (they actually make money when they sell consoles!), and there's some pretty interesting math in the article: "Dividing Nintendo's $8.26 billion in revenue by its 3,400 employees, each employee generated $2.5 million." Holy crud!
  • Hey, you got your X-Men in my Heroes! You got your Heroes in my X-Men! Turns out the woman who played Callisto in X-Men: The Last Stand will appear as a mysterious new hero in the second season of the show.
  • Fifteen New Zealand actors who starred in The Lord of the Rings are suing New Line Cinema for 5 percent of the films' net merchandising revenue, which they feel they're owed since their characters were portrayed in the merchandise.
  • Have you heard about those promotional Silver Surfer quarters? Turns out they're illegal. Oops.
  • Tetris ice cubes! There's a gallery of photos, and a link to a how-to guide.
  • Joystiq has some more screen caps for us from The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass.
  • We're not particularly surprised, but we are a little disappointed, that the events depicted in the video game documentary called King of Kong, which we saw and enjoyed at the Philadelphia Film Festival this year, were not exactly the whole and complete truth.
