The shapeless dough of the internet, formed into tasty pellets and baked to perfection, just for you.

- Curious about that new Pepsi Summer Mix you've seen in the stores? Well, don't try it for yourself, for God's sake! Apropos of Something is here to try it for you, and report back just how awful it really is! In this case... it's apparently actually not really that awful. So maybe you should try it after all.
- After you're done watching this trailer for a made up computer-animated show called Star Wars: Tales of the New Republic (via), you can swing on over to the official Star Wars site and watch the trailer for the upcoming (real) computer-animated show, Star Wars: The Clone Wars (via). We're not a big fan of the animation style in either trailer; The Clone Wars has taken an uneasy middle road between cartoony and realistic that just doesn't really work. We preferred Genndy Tartakovsky's straight-up stylized cartoonish style to this stuff. Still, it looks like it might be fun, with plenty of action.
- Nerdiest. Tattoo. Ever. (Yes, of course we know the tattooee.)
- Somebody has taken video clips of Shatner's recent appearance on Conan O'Brien, and of him driving a race car at incredibly high speeds, and mixed them together into a sort of techno/hip-hop music video that's actually surprisingly entertaining. Check it out. (Via)
- Apropos of Something has condensed hours of TV cop show viewing into a handy 3-step outline of what to do if you're a murderer. Enjoy!
- Attendees of Star Wars Celebration IV got to see more than 40 minutes of footage from the upcoming film Fanboys, about a bunch of Star Wars fans who decide to try to break into Lucas' Skywalker Ranch to see The Phantom Menace before its official release. Let us know if you find the footage on YouTube or some such, as we assume it will show up there eventually...
- You can view a very silly trailer for the upcoming Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga video game right here.
- Have you been asking yourself, "What's the deal with that Halo movie?" Well, what the hell are you asking yourself for when you should be asking Joystiq? Joystiq writes that, according to an interview with Peter Jackson, he's still interested in producing the film, but only if Neil Blomkamp directs. Also, even though 20th Century Fox and Universal backed out of funding the movie, he thinks studios will become interested in laying out money again when Halo 3 comes out and starts raking in the cash.
- Aw, this is a nice story. Game company Harmonix, which developed Guitar Hero, has sent in a big donation to Guitar Hero fan site Score Hero to help get them the cash they need to upgrade their servers.
- Word is that director Bryan Singer is no longer working on the Logan's Run remake, having been fired by producer Joel Silver. So that movie just got a lot less interesting.
- We still kind of like Vin Diesel, despite some of the awful films he's been in, so we were excited to find some teaser/behind-the-scenes footage from his upcoming sci-fi action thriller, Babylon AD. (Via)
- Keira Knightley might play Princess Di in an upcoming movie based on the controversial book Diana And The Paparazzi.
- What with the 30th anniversary and everything, everybody's getting into the Star Wars thing - including Family Guy. Their fifth season-opener in September will be an hourlong retelling of the Star Wars saga using all Family Guy characters. Sounds awesome.
