Weekend Fun at the Tower

Memorial Day weekend is filled with block parties, barbecues, picnics and family. If you get tired of your perverted Uncle or nosy Aunt, then head over to Tower Theatre to see Rocco Deluca and the Burden opening for Keane.

Rocco Deluca and the Burden hail from Long Beach, CA and just released their debut album I Trust You To Kill Me. "Colorful," their new hit single, has wowed critics in both the magazine and bloggers circles. Rolling Stone says, "The echoes of Neil Young, Robert Plant, Jeff Buckley and Pearl Jam blend into something unique, especially when performed live. Using the Dobro steel guitar to cut deep on tracks such as 'Soul,' 'Dope' and the title song, the group packs the heat and rocks aggression to work its way into your head and stay there."

We all know that Keane rocks, but the fact that their opening act rocks as well is quite a bonus. Give yourself time away from the family and enjoy some great music.
