The best of the internet, squirted out in flavorful neon globules, just for you.

In case you missed a few episodes, or you just can't remember all the crazy crap that's gone down this season, you might want to check out this hilarious recap, featuring many screen caps of your favorite characters making very silly faces. - It seems like every couple of months, we hear about another insane idea for a musical. Well, we must be due again, because now they're talking about an Addams Family musical. (Via Editor Jill)
- Speaking of crazy ideas, how about a movie called Nutcracker -- The Untold Story, directed by Andrei Konchalovsky, starring John Turturro, Nathan Lane and Elle Fanning, and featuring music by Tchaikovsky and lyrics by Tim Rice? That's not just a crazy idea we had during a drug trip, people; it's an actual movie that starts filming on July 16.
- Michael Bay claims the latest Transformers trailer is boring to him, and none of the movie's truly awesome shots were included. He may just be bullshitting us, but if he's not, then we are now even more excited about this movie than we were before.
- We thought we heard that Galactus was just going to look like a cloud or something in FF2, but The Movie Blog thinks they've found the classic shape of Galactus's helmet in an image from the latest TV spot for the movie. Take a look and see what you think.
- New Iron Man poster! Woo!
- Somebody must have misunderstood George Lucas when they reported that he was planning two live-action Star Wars movies for TV. Either that, or he was off his meds at the time. Anyway, the word from Star Wars bigwig Steve Sansweet is that there won't be two movies, but just two new TV series, like we'd heard about before. Which makes a lot more sense.
- The rumor is that the studio is going to offer roles in their Watchmen movie as follows: Patrick Wilson as Night Owl, Jude Law as Ozymandias, and... Keaanu Reeves as Dr. Manhattan. Okay, we can see the first two, but... Keanu as Manhattan?!?! NNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOO!!! Please, sweet lord, let this rumor be false.
- Five clips from the already critically acclaimed new Coen brothers movie, No Country for Old Men, can be found online here. (Via)
- Some sad sort of anti-casting news: Daniel Craig won't be in Blindness after all, and Christopher Lee won't be in Burton's Sweeney Todd. Sounds like Craig dropped out by choice, but Lee's scenes were cut prior to them being filmed. We would love to have seen him in the movie, but it sounds like he was playing some weird invented character, so maybe it's just as well.
- We really hope Eric Idle was kidding when he supposedly complained about Shrek 3 stealing the coconut gag from him and his fellow Pythoners. C'mon, dude. Lighten up. It's an homage! At least, we assume it is. Jill?
- We keep hearing great things about this Geometry Wars game, so we're excited to hear that it's coming to DS and Wii.
- Lately we were mourning the loss of Nintendo Power, but it sounds like the rumors of its death may have been slightly exaggerated; the magazine may just be heading to another publisher.
- Check out this trailer for Overlord, an upcoming video game where you essentially get to play as Sauron. Yes, you are the evil overlord. You build your own dark tower. You get an army of minions. Minions!!! We can't wait.
- The Invincible Super-Blog is blowing our minds again! Apparently there's a real actual superhero called Squirrel Girl, and she is totally creepy and scary looking. But we kind of love her for making M.O.D.O.K. articulate the flaw in his own character design.
- We'd heard a depressing rumor that Guitar Hero: '80s Edition might not happen, but it must have been false, because some of the tracks from the game have been released! Also, the game apparently has a new title: Guitar Hero Encore: Rocks the 80s. Okay, that sucks. But still, "Synchronicity II!" Woo hoo!
- Is the Wii getting a new, non-VC download service? It sure sounds like it.

Across the Ist-a-Verse

If there is any goodness and decency in the world, there will be a Def Leppard track on GH 80's Edition.
