- Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen may be playing the first set of twin Bond girls in the next Bond movie. Unfortunately, the've been offered a clause in their contract stating they won't have to strip or shoot any sex scenes. Damn it! What's the point, then?
- Yesterday the 400th episode of "The Simpsons" aired on Fox. Wow! According to The Movie Blog, only four other shows have hit that mark.
- Samuel L. Jackson is going to play big bad guy The Octopus in Frank Miller's film adaptation of The Spirit. Ooh, boy. This one is getting better all the time.
- We hadn't heard much about that Untouchables prequel lately, but Nicolas Cage was cast as the young Al Capone a while back, and now Gerard (not Gerald, for God's sake) Butler (of 300 fame) will also star. Who exactly he's going to play is still a mystery.
- Want to see a trailer for the new Rambo movie? Of course you do. It's a bit slow to start, but then comes the incredibly bloody violence. Yay! (Via)
- The music video for '70s non-hit "Soul Dracula" will terrify you! Less because it's actually scary, and more because it's so very, very bad.
- Check out IBelieveInHarveyDentToo.com for the first real photo of Heath Ledger as The Joker. It's partially obscured, but you get a pretty good idea what they're going for and it's... different. Should be an interesting movie! (Via)
- The new Coen brothers movie is getting some great buzz after its screening at Cannes. We can hardly wait until its national release on November 21st.
- A trailer for the film adaptation of the critically acclaimed graphic novel, Persepolis. It's in French and there are no subtitles, but it's easy to understand what's going on, and it looks good.
- So, over the weekend Blizzard announced its next method for eating all your free time and destroying your life: Starcraft 2. And apparently the entire nation of Korea was very, very excited.
- If you enjoyed the collection of charmingly creepy and cutely wrong minigames that was Rayman Raving Rabbids, you'll be pleased to know that a sequel is on its way, for Wii and DS. If you click that link, you'll also find an embedded YouTube video of the complete collection of those wacky ads that taught us so many important facts about bunnies.
- Speaking of bunnies, they've done it again! Starz hosts March of the Penguins, re-enacted in 30 seconds, entirely by bunnies. Perhaps one of their most... unlikely re-enactments yet! (Via)
