• Seeing as the source code from much of our spam indicates that it was sent from France, we're pleased to learn that France has launched an anti-spam platform, "which will act as a centralised monitor of spamming activities [and] generate a blacklist and help initiate prosecutions against spammers."
• Postage rates go up today, only now, the size and shape of the package you send, and not just its weight, will affect what it costs to ship. We suggest that those of you who still write letters by hand do so on the thinnest paper possible.
