A tall, icy glass of our favorite internet junk, just for you.

- Pulp Muppets. We bet you can guess what it is based on the name. Our favorite part is that Eric Stoltz is already a muppet. (Via)
- The nominees for the 2007 MTV Movie Awards were recently announced, and you can vote for your picks right here. Although how you can pick anything decent out of the crappy lists of nominees, we're not sure... (Via)
- Apparently production is going to begin very soon on a film adaptation of Chuck Palahniuk's novel Choke. Let's hope it turns out as well as Fight Club did!
- There's going to be a huge James Bond Charity Summer Ball in England (at the Winter Gardens near Bristol) on 7/7/007 (get it?!?). Admission costs a relatively reasonable 25 pounds, and profits go to charity, so if you were planning on going to England one of these days anyway, and you like the James Bond, now might be your time!
- We could have Guitar Hero '80s Edition by June or July! The "sinister" players out there might want to get ready by modding their controller so that everything's in the right place for the left-handed.
- Apparently due to the recent shootings at Virginia Tech, the American remake of the gory Japanese thriller Battle Royale may be on hold. Since it probably would have sucked anyway, we don't think this is any great loss.
- Somebody took those Mac/PC commercials, and turned them into a series of funny Marvel/DC videos on YouTube. The Movie Blog has collected them together for ease of viewing. Yay!
- Two guys, after mulling over the fact that the cities on the East Coast have been slowly merging together into a kind of megalopolis, have decided to travel across the whole thing using only local public transit. They'll be starting in Fredericksburg, Virginia and going all the way to Portland, Maine, and they will use no cars, taxis, planes, or long-distance bus or rail services to do it. Naturally, they'll be blogging the whole thing! One of the participants, Davide Gadren, has let us know that they'll be stopping in Philly on Monday night (5/14) and they'll be having a party somewhere in the city. Nice!
- How about some hot close-up shots of Jupiter and its moons? Awww, yeah. (Via Editor Jill)
- Interesting stuff has been going down on Digg. Apparently folks were posting links to "an encryption key that could be used to crack the digital rights management on HD DVDs," and when the site started deleting said posts, users freaked out. Digg's admins decided to bow to the will of their users, stop deleting the posts, and deal with any fall-out, even if that means getting shut down. (Via Editor Jill)
- This Married to the Sea comic is NSFW, but it's also very funny. So just peek at it real quick while no one is looking.
- Whew! Chris at the Invincible Super-Blog has revealed his big news, and thankfully it's what we hoped: he's shutting down the current blog, but only in order to move to a new site.
- Final Fantasy creator Hironobu Sakaguchi doesn't seem to like any of the big three console companies. He thinks Microsoft is marketing its games wrong in Japan, he's not interested in doing anything for the Wii right now, and he has no projects lined up for the PS3 because, and we quote, "The machine's architecture is tricky, and I don't like Ken Kutaragi." Heh heh heh.
- Film Cynic brings us The Ten Worst Movie Posters of All Time. That's kind of an extreme claim, and we have to say they don't deliver on it all that well. Not all of these posters are even that bad, and we can think of some worse ones just off the top of our head - like that horrific one for Tim Allen's Shaggy Dog movie, where the dog had the freakish human eyes. (Via)
- There's always talk of another Evil Dead movie floating around, but recently Sam Raimi himself said he's trying to get his brother Ivan help him write a screenplay for Evil Dead 4, so maybe it's finally getting close to reality now.
- Are you getting tired of seeing pictures from the upcoming Iron Man movie? Well, we're not, so here's another! This time it's our first look at the red and gold suit. Sweet!
- Is Uwe Boll's latest film, Postal, actually a... good film?! Well, the folks at Twitch Film have seen it, and they say yes! Amazing! (Via)
- Wow. We thought Mel Gibson was crazy, but now we know for sure: he wants to do Maverick 2. Oh, well, all right. Maybe it'll make some money. And the first one wasn't really that bad. But still. Maverick 2?! C'mon!
- Here's a weird combination of talent: Darren Star, who created shows like 90210 and Sex and the City is going to make his directorial debut on a film adaptation of a book about the publishing world called The Frog King. Said adaptation will be written by American Psycho author Bret Easton Ellis, and will star Joseph Gordon-Levitt. Color us intrigued.

i really hate this section. we all read digg or delicious, why regurgitate on your blog? it's boring and redundant.
Hey, thanks for crapping all over my labor of love, nick!
FYI, lots of people like this post. Also, not everybody reads digg and delicious, and even those who do will find that those sites leave you with a lot of stuff to sift through to get to the real gems. I'm just trying to do the sifting for you, and give it a bit of a Philly flavor and spin when I can.
