Bowling for Urban Promise

ls.jpgUrbanPromise is an independent, faith-based non-profit in Camden. For the past eighteen years, the organization's mission has been to provide after school programs, summer camps, and job training for youth in Camden. It also runs two schools - one is kindergarten through eighth grade, the other is a high school.

Having been featured on 20/20 with Diane Sawyer, UrbanPromise has recently gained an increasing amount of attention, both locally and nationally. However, they remain dependent upon funding from donors to keep their programs going. In an effort to raise funds, tomorrow night, Lucky Strike Lanes will host "Bowling for UrbanPromise," an event organized by Nichole L. Williams, Esquire. Food, drinks and shoe rental are included in the cost of admission.
