
- The state Supreme Court says Brady can stay on the May 15 primary ballot, despite his paperwork errors. So, we guess that's it for that.
- Yesterday an accident caused problems on 202, but starting this coming Sunday it'll be a planned construction project that will cut the road down to one lane in each direction between Route 401 and Route 30. Thankfully construction will only take place between 10PM and 5AM, Sunday through Thursday.
- Tom Knox: good with numbers. Yawn.
- Republicans say that two of Rendell's cabinet secretary nominations could have been involved in ethics violations. At first Rendell demanded a vote on them to proceed anyway, but then realized he'd need to do some bipartison cooperation later on budget issues, and decided to compromise and have an expedited Ethics Commission review first.
- Rendell was also disappointed when the Navy said no to his plans to have the state take over Willow Grove Naval Air Station from the Air Force when it closes. Rendell is surprised and disappointed, but is going to work with the congressional delegation to pursue the original goal.
- If you're heading over into New Jersey, keep in mind you will now be able to smoke in even fewer places there now. Most of Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson is now off limits, and in Keyport you can't smoke in a car if there are kids present.
