- For those following the saga of Milton Street: his tax evasion trial has been pushed back from May to October 15, at the request of Street himself, after he got a new lawyer.
- The latest updates on the mayor's race for today: the Inquirer profiles Fattah, and his mission to defeat poverty in Philly through education. They also take a look at what it will mean if Sam Katz ends up entering the race, post-primary. Meanwhile, a health insurance firm run by Tom Knox is in trouble!
- A federal lawsuit against a North Jersey tax-collection firm is bringing to light some questionable practices, not only of former Pennsylvania Governor Mark Schweiker, but of Harrisburg in general.
- DA Lynne Abraham is publicly slamming Mayor Street about his handling of Philly's violence epidemic again, this time because he's cutting her budget.
- Bad news for those of you who travel on 202 and possibly the Schuylkill Expressway, as well: a truck tipped on its way up a ramp from the Expressway to 202 and spilled trash onto southbound 202 this morning, which led to 202 being closed for a while. The ramp might be closed again later today so they can upright and remove the truck, and of course that might affect 202 again. As of 8:45AM, one lane was getting by on the ramp and both lanes of 202 south were moving.
