What's new and/or interesting on TV this week.

Divine Canine: With the Monks of New Skete (Mon, 8PM-8:30PM, Animal Planet) - The first of two new Animal Planet shows debuting Monday night, this one is about some monks in Cambridge, NY who use holistic training methods on misbehaving dogs in order to transform them into loving pets. In this first episode, a monk tries to talk some sense into a naughty Cavalier King Charles spaniel.
It's Me or the Dog (Mon, 8:30PM-9PM, Animal Planet) - The second of two new Animal Planet shows tonight, this one is also about training out-of-control pups, but features an animal training expert named Victoria Stillwell, instead of monks. In this first episode, Stillwell takes on a couple of Labradors who jumping all over everybody and everything.
Ancient Discoveries (Tue, 9PM-10PM, History Channel) - Dude. Ancient robots. Awesome.
Thank God You're Here (Wed, 8PM-9PM, NBC) - They've got an interesting gang of guests on this new improv show Wednesday night: George Takei, Chelsea Handler, Tom Green, and Shannon Elizabeth. It has the potential to be very funny, or be a complete trainwreck.
Another 101 Things Removed From the Human Body (Wed, 8PM-9PM, TLC) - Because the first 101 weren't crazy enough, here are more true stories about random items that were found inside of people and taken out, complete with X-rays, 3D graphics, and interviews with the people and doctors involved.
The Simpsons (Sun, 8PM-8:30PM, Fox) - Marge becomes addicted to an online role-playing game. Yep, sounds like they're doing their World of Warcraft episode. Awesome. Also, Lisa goes into soccer, and Homer becomes a referee. That's not going to go well...
Nature (Sun, 8PM-9PM, PBS [WHYY]) - As if we didn't have enough dog-centered shows listed this week, this episode of Nature is Part 1 of a two-part series on the history of the dog. They start by studying genetics to trace the dog back to its roots, then talk about Inuit sled dogs, Doberman pinschers, and the border collie.
