  • According to somebody on Craigslist, there's a guy around who likes to ride the Broad Street sub, sit across from female passengers, and masturbate. Click through for the description. (Via Editor Jill)
  • There are 14 full-service passport agencies in the country, including one in Philadelphia, and all of them, including the one in Philadelphia, are seeing an incredible increase in business this year due to the fact that, since January 23rd, U.S. citizens are now required to carry passports even when they travel to Mexico, Canada, Central America, the Caribbean, and Bermuda. The guy who runs the pizza place across from Philly's passport agency is also seeing a big increase in business, although he's a lot happier about it than anybody at the agency.
  • Philadelphians are finally getting tired of how corrupt their city is, and candidates are trying to win them over by talking about ethics and reform.
  • Sure, we've all heard about global warming and all the awful things it's going to do to the planet, but the Inquirer finally tells us what we all really want to know: what's it going to do to the Shore??
  • The kid who helped break the neck of a popular Germantown High School teacher pleaded guilty and has his sentencing tomorrow; the teacher will be there to look the student in the eye, and to address the court.
  • A fire in Upper Darby yesterday morning left two people hospitalized and 60 apartments damaged - 30 of them to the point of making them uninhabitable.
  • People, we've already had over 100 homicides in Philadelphia this year. WTF?
