The Honorary Title at TLA

cagrjfhj1.jpgTonight, Theatre of the Living Arts presents Butch Walker and the Let's Go Out Tonites with The Honorary Title and Rocket starting at 9PM. We're very excited for The Honorary Title's performance because they're debuting some new tracks off of their upcoming CD, Scream and Light up the Sky, which is due out in June.

Earlier this week, we had the opportunity to interview Jarrod Gorbel, the lead singer of The Honorary Title. He talked all about his new CD, touring and his favorite bands.

The Honorary Title's fan-base is mostly produced by their lengthy tours across America and the Internet. We're betting that their concert and new music will kick ass, especially if the rest of their album sounds like their new track, "Untouched and Intact." You can hear that track on their MySpace page. It'll give you a sense of the direction they're taking with their new music. We also had to preview another track, "Stuck at Sea," which sounds like a mix of U2, The Cure, Coldplay and Keane. Yeah it pretty much rocks!

The indie-rock band will take the stage at about 9:30PM tonight. Make sure you get their early; the doors open at 8PM.
