The best of the internet, chopped into tiny bits and grilled for your enjoyment.

- As you may or may not know, the web comic-slinging, game critiquing duo over at Penny Arcade have finally stepped forward and begun making a video game of their very own, entitled (with their usual gift for florid language) On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness: Episode One. Joystiq has posted a teaser trailer of the game which is not particularly enlightening. Looks like a sort of steam punk detective action adventure game. We'll definitely keep an eye on it.
- Rumor is we might have a new Katamari game called Beautiful Katamari coming to PS3 and Xbox 360 by October 17th, and Wii by November 14th. Very exciting! If true...
- Heh heh. Stereotypical video game titles are funny. We're going to agree with Joystiq and say that WWII: World War II is the best one.
- Check out this cool TMNT featurette (mov). It's got tons of footage from the movie. It gives away some of the plot, but really not even as much as your average movie trailer, so don't worry about it too much. (Via)
- The trailer for The Invisible has apparently been out for a while, but this is the first time we've seen it, and we think it looks pretty interesting. Sort of like Ghost, except he's a teen, and his body is actually still alive. Check it out. (Via)
- It's the 30th anniversary of Star Wars and in celebration the USPS is installing 400 mailboxes done up to look like R2-D2 in high traffic areas across the country. They'll also be releasing a commemorative Star Wars stamp on March 28th. They're also hinting that there might be something else in store, but we'll have to wait and see if that amounts to anything.
More after the jump...
- Cinematical is pimping Spider-Man 3 with a FAQ/guide containing everything you need to know about the film. We remain only distantly interested.
- What is with Indy 4 and the weird on-again, off-again casting rumors? It sounded like they had Shia Lebeouf, and then they didn't. Then it sounded for sure like they had Cate Blanchett, and now we're told she's just "in talks." Lame!
- Interesting: the next Bond film will be a direct sequel to the previous one, Casino Royale, breaking the standalone formula of the franchise so far.
- Holy crud! They're giving Sherlock Holmes to Neil Marshall to reinvent in a new movie! Yes, that's the Neil Marshall who made the cult werewolf film Dog Soldiers, and one of the big hits of last year's Philadelphia Film Festival, The Descent. We're a little wary of the idea of an "edgy" reinvention of Sherlock Holmes, but very curious to see what Neil Marshall can do with the characters. Admittedly, he's not writing the thing; some guy named Michael Johnson is doing that. But we'll definitely want to see how this goes.
- Bad news! Rumor is Emma Watson may no longer be playing Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter films. Let's hope this one turns out to be false (which is actually rather likely, since it's coming from a British tabloid).
- You're going to watch the Battlestar Galactica finale (of course), but you want to find a group of like-minded friends with whom to enjoy it (or rather, endure it - and we mean that in the best way). But how to organize it all?? Go to FrakParty.com, of course! It's your headquarters for finding or hosting a BG viewing party. (Via)
- Wow! There's an early surreal, philosophical teleplay by Jim Henson on Google Video! It's called The Cube, and it's about a guy who finds himself trapped in a cube (you know, sort of like Cube, although apparently there's no relation). We're intrigued, but don't have time to watch it now. If you do, let us know how it is! (Via)

Wait... Sherlock Holmes... Neil Marshall... so very... conflicted...
