It's not easy being green, or performing on the green of all green days: St. Patrick's Day. But that's what Pete Yorn set out to do to a slightly underwhelming crowd at the Electric Factory on Saturday night.
This Phillyist has seen Yorn twice before at two much smaller venues, which could be why the show felt less powerful or electric than before (not that the show was acoustic -- not at all). The added space and even musicians didn't add anything to the show. Still, Yorn played his mix of edgy rock well even if half the audience had been celebrating the holiday since that morning.
(And, yes, it was fun walking past the drunks at Finnegan's, and we're posting this picture of Yorn as a tribute to them.)
