And Who Doesn't Love a Good 80s Flick?

phillydares.pngWe know that over here at Phillyist, we're huge fans. That's why we're super-stoked for Philly Dares: Simply Irresistible, "an acting, burlesque, 80's inspired extravaganza to benefit The Sapphire Fund and Broadway Cares: Equity Fights AIDS" that promises to take its inspiration from the likes of Ferris Bueller and The Breakfast Club, only with more sexy, shirtless, dancing gays (okay, and a few straights too—maybe).

The show is one-night only, and like we told you, the benefits go to a great couple of causes. And you'll get the extra, added benefit of all the stripping you can handle in one night.

Philly Dares: Simply Irresistible
Saturday, February 24, 2007, 8PM
At the Elaine C. Levitt Auditorium at the Gershman Y (Broad & Pine Street)
Tickets $15-$75 in advance, and available at Spruce Street Video, P.H.A.G., Giovanni's Room, and online.
