Nicole Atkins & The Sea Giveaway

Get out your pens and pencils! This isn't your average ticket giveaway. After playing for three years with the North Carolina alt-country band Los Parasols, Nicole Atkins began making a name for herself as a solo performer and was recently named one of Rolling Stone's Top 10 Artists to Watch. With her new EP Bleeding Diamonds, she has truly come into her own.

This indie singer/songwriter wants you, yes you, to try your hand at writing. Her challenge: compose a haiku (one of those 5-7-5 things) on the theme "Sailing the Sea of Cheese (steaks)." She'll personally judge the results. See her as she takes the stage with fellow Jersey-er Don McCloskey and Philadelphia's own Unlikely Cowboy.
