<description>&lt;p&gt;Actually (not that it matters), the abscess was in the right hind leg, the broken one, not in the laminitic left hind.  Tragically, I believe the real problem is that if his left hind had been ok, they could have treated the abscessed hoof easier, but he literally didn&apos;t have enough legs to stand one.
A brave horse.  Very sad.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
