Lance Armstrong Is Building An Army

230768081_90b7f8446f.jpgGiven the low cure rate for many cancers and the fact that cancer will affect one in three people in their lifetimes, Lance Armstrong is looking to create a massive lobbying group for and by the people to ensure the improvement of cancer care, treatment, and research, while ensuring that such programs receive the requisite funding. As we are still behind in diagnosing, preventing, and treating this pervasive disease, it needs to be placed higher on the agenda in Washington. Watch the new campaign video to see how you can help. The Live Strong campaign has supported other common sense issues, such as pushing for unfettered stem cell research. (Science and common sense are hard to come by, though, when veto power is in the hands of someone who doesn't believe in global warming.)

Imagine, a lobbying group that isn't evil and is concerned only with people instead of profits. Maybe this campaign will change the way we look at our government. After we make cancer treatment and prevention more of an issue we'll turn our collective voices to big pharma, the gun lobby, and big tobacco, letting them know that evil cunts in corporate America will no longer be tolerated. And then the legislators will be free to be push legislation unencumbered by the parasitic interest groups that have been killing this country for some time.

Can you tell me more about why the gun lobby is an evil cunt of corporate America? A gun is a beautiful thing if handled properly. Responsibility is the key in owning a gun, and the natural fear that one should have toward them. I am just curious of their actual politics.
