A steaming hot pile of our favorite things from around the internets.

- Surprising exactly no one, Microsoft has announced that they will add gaming to the Zune by 2008. We might be vaguely interested in this device...if we didn't already have an iPod...and it wasn't made by Microsoft. (Download Squad also compares the Gates and Jobs keynote speeches, and finds Gates' wanting - again, no surprise there!)
- Star Wars IV reinterpreted given the events of I-III. Those are some crazy geek mind acrobatics right there. (Via)
- So apparently now the PS3 has gone from being impossible to get, to being widely available but unwanted. Good one, Sony! (Oh, and apparently your online service sucks, too.)
- In the Wii Blackhand Edition of the Godfather video game, you still have to beat the crap out of people by shaking them around, hitting them with bats, and shooting out their kneecaps - but now you actually, physically do it with the Wii remote and nunchuck. Hoo boy. So the Wii is the console for kids, huh? We can't wait until some unsuspecting parent walks into their living room and sees their kid drop-kicking a sniveling informant...
- Woo hoo! Another Wii game with sword-fighting! Joystiq worries there will be too many of these soon, but we're still excited about them. Although we'd be even more excited if they could manage to get down the true, one-to-one motion...
- Well, if the next-gen format war wasn't over before, it certainly is now: the porn industry has made its choice!
- Okay, we know we keep saying we're done with the CES, and then we keep posting about it again...but this time we think we're finally done...after we post this list of the top 10 CES videos from Shiny Shiny.
- Heh. John Rogers at Kung Fu Monkey puts it all together for us, and also invents a new T-shirt, with one simple and persuasive idea: George W. Bush = Leeroy Jenkins.
- Apparently the guys at the studio were thinking, "We want to make a new Mummy movie, but Sommers doesn't want to direct again, so what can we do to keep the series totally bland and brainless? Hmm...I know! We'll get the guy who directed Stealth and The Fast and the Furious! Man, we're smart."
