A tall, icy glass of our favorite internet junk, just for you.

- Supposedly, you can watch the first 4 episodes of "24" season 6 online, right now, before the show airs on TV. You can find them at the bottom of the list on this page. We haven't tried this, so we're not guaranteeing anything, but The Movie Blog seems to think it's for real. (Via)
- Wired has a totally fascinating article about the ongoing search for the tapes of the original raw footage of the Apollo 11 moon landing, which are of a much higher quality than anything we've seen before. The story is a rather sad one that reveals how incredibly poor the record-keeping and filing systems of government agencies are, and how quickly certain technologies can fall by the wayside and be forgotten.
- Joystiq has found a neat bowling pin lamp that goes off when you knock it over and turns on when you stand it up. They think it's perfect for a nice, violent session of Wii Bowling. (Via)
- A company called Nyko is coming out with recharge stations for both Wii remotes and PS3 Sixaxis controllers. They've also got a few other fun Wii accessories, including a wireless sensor bar and component cables.
- Before we put CES 2007 to bed for good, we couldn't help but post a couple more videos from Shiny Shiny's coverage. First, there's this one (via), which makes clear once again that the folks in Asia get all the best gadgets first. And then, of course, there's Asimo - Shiny Shiny has four different videos of our favorite little robot running around doing stuff.
- We've already all heard that the studio doesn't want Peter Jackson on The Hobbit, but in case there was any question about their feelings, the head of New Line has cleared things up: "I do not want to make a movie with somebody who is suing me. It will never happen during my watch." Well, when you put it that way...
More after the jump...
- As you've always suspected, that damn claw machine is rigged. Luckily, British science geeks can teach you how to beat it. (Via)
- As per Roger Daltrey's wishes, Mike Myers will indeed play Keith Moon in a movie about the Who drummer's life called See Me Feel Me, due to come out in 2009. You may think we're crazy or overly optimistic (both of which are probably true), but we could see how this might work! (Via)
- Two favorite geek vehicles turned into cakes: Serenity and the Yellow Submarine. Tasty!
- This is really cool: a very, very, very tiny replica of Rodin's famous statue, The Thinker.
- If you didn't already hate "American Idol" and its evil judges, we offer you two more reasons: Paula Abdul is taking on a large part of the creative direction of Bratz - The Movie, and Simon Cowell thinks Kelly Clarkson is better than Bob Dylan. There are few things in popular culture we hate more than the hideously ugly, oversexualized, incredibly negative role models that are the Bratz dolls. How can they sell that crap to young girls?! And as for Cowell not liking Dylan - yeah, that pretty much speaks for itself. The guy has no idea what he's talking about, people. There's no longer any reason to listen to anything he says, if there ever was.
- Bob Harris brings up some important unanswered questions about the iPhone - like what if you're really greasy? (Via reader Casey G.)

Checked out the first few minutes of 24 season 6. Seems alright. Hopefully it doesn't cut off though. I always hope for Jack Bauer to make some Indiana Jones type line when he first comes upon terrorists: "Terrorists- I hate those guys".
