The best of the internet, squirted out in flavorful neon globules, just for you.

- Time to kick the CES to the corner, because yesterday was Macworld, and Jobs dropped some bombs. Download Squad has a handy roundup of the big stuff, the biggest of the big being, of course, the long-awaited iPhone, which looks to be just about the coolest, craziest multi-purpose techno-gizmo ever in the world. Wired has the photos, Gadget Lab already has 5 things to hate about it, and Joystiq is trying to figure out how we can use it for gaming. Meanwhile, Listening Post claims that Apple also won its battle against that other Apple, and they're getting the Beatles on the iTunes Music Store (hmm...we don't see any Beatles there yet). And finally, Cult of Mac points out the importance of the fact that Apple has dropped the "Computer" from its name, signifying its expansion into the wider tech market.
- We warn you: this video of a Tickle Me Elmo doll on fire may very well be one of the most disturbing things you'll ever see. We're still kind of freaking out about it right now.
- Wow. We haven't seen a trailer that surprised as much as this one for a long time. It's the one for Black Snake Moan, which looks to be a...different kind of movie. Yeah. We won't say any more than that. Just go watch the trailer for yourself. (Via)
- A new version of The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, hacked into shape by numerous contributors over four years, was released at the end of last year. Could they possibly improve upon one of the greatest games of all time? We're curious to find out...
- Hey, your song could be in the next DDR! All you have to do is pay $20 to enter a contest...which might not have any winners... Huh. That's kind of...lame. (Via)
- "Simpsons" and "Futurama" characters drawn as if they were in a manga. Cool.
- The weirdest thing about this restaurant where you eat in pitch dark and the waiters serve you with night vision goggles on is that it's in China, and not Japan. Regardless, we're never, ever going there. The very idea is completely horrifying.
- If you deeply, deeply love your recliner, but have always thought it lacked a jet engine, then one of Dan's Armchair Cruisers might be the thing for you. Also, you might be slightly insane. (Via)

1) I'm with you. Never, ever going to a restaurant where you eat in pitch black.
2) Tickle Me Elmo on fire = Wrong & Creepy.
3) I also think some or all of the Beatles catalog will be available on the iTMS someday soon-ish. I don't have any facts to back it up, but unless my memory is faulty (which is possible), Steve hasn't used Beatles music in his post-iPod MacWorld keynotes before.
