A steaming hot pile of our favorite things from around the internets.

- The title of the seventh and final Harry Potter book has been announced, and it is Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. J.K. wanted to make sure what we were in for and put "death" in the damn title! Pretty exciting and horrifying.
- The Movie Blog has what is apparently a real picture of Keith Richards in his outfit and makeup for Pirates of the Caribbean 3. Nice.
- Pretty much every cartoon movie that comes out these days, even the dinky little ones, has an all-star cast voicing the characters, so we're not totally shocked by the fact that the upcoming computer-animated Ninja Turtles movie has snagged itself a lot of famous folks for its voice talent. Still, as Cinematical points out, the particular stars they've chosen seem very appropriate, and include Patrick Stewart, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Kevin Smith, and Zhang Ziyi.
- Holy crap, there's a trailer for Grindhouse!! If you've read this column at all in the past few months, you know how excited we are about that. Appropriately enough, the trailer is done in the '60s/'70s exploitation movie style. Also, it is absolutely fantastic. Can't believe we have to wait until April 6th to see this movie. She has a gun for a leg, people! (Via)
- What have those crazy hackers figured out how to control with their Wii remotes now? A remote control car, that's what! Very cool. (Via)
- Nintendo has finally announced what's really getting released to the Virtual Console on Christmas, and it's actually slightly more exciting than the rumors - except for the fact that none of the titles are free. We've got Super Mario Bros., Street Fighter II: The World Warrior, Super Castlevania IV, Toe Jam & Earl, and R-Type. Dude. Time to stock up on Wii points. Also, remember, real men wii standing up.
More after the jump...
- Apparently on a certain stretch of Highway 55 in Minnesota, there are large white ovals painted on the blacktop indicating how far apart drivers should stay from one another. Somebody saw these, made a connection, and decided to add a giant yellow Pac-Man eating the dots. Fantastic. The picture's here, the story's here. (Via)
- Here's another year-end top ten list: the video game industry's biggest Gaffes and Blunders in 2006. Ah, the Phantom... (Via)
- Oh no! It's the worst Wii accident ever! Oh, the humanity!
- Amazon may begin offering DRM-free music downloads early next year. Will we and our iPods finally be able to throw off the golden shackles of the iTunes Music Store? We can only wait, and pray.
- Rejoice, Buffy fans! Season 8 is coming...to a comic book store near you! Yep, Dark Horse is continuing the show in comic format, with Joss Whedon himself writing several installments. Season 7 was pretty poor, and the final episode was possible the worst one ever, but this Buffy fan (and comics fan, for that matter) is still excited to hear this news, and curious to see what they can do with the franchise.
- What are you getting for your pet this year? What? Nothing?! You bastard! You're worse than Hitler. For god's sake, you could at least pick up a suit of armor for your cat and/or mouse. (Via)
