The shapeless dough of the internet, formed into tasty pellets and baked to perfection, just for you.

- Trailer time! Here's one for Shrek the Third (via) - check it out, it's quite funny! And keep an eye out for the long awaited Transformers trailer tomorrow.
- XPN has a fun early Christmas present for us: free Christmas music downloads from artists like Sufjan Stevens and Kristoffer Ragnstam! God bless them, every one.
- We totally support the idea of a Cthulhu theme park, but while we're waiting for that idea to materialize (which no doubt it will, when the time and stars are right), here's a fantastically hilarious Lovecraft Christmas carol, "It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Fishmen" (via)! Possibly even better than our imaginary zombie Christmas carol, "I Saw Mommy Eating Santa Claus." Somebody totally needs to write that song.
- In further, incredibly exciting Lovecraft news, Guillermo del Toro wants to direct a faithful film version of Lovecraft's At the Mountains of Madness!!! We literally pumped our fists in the air in delight upon reading this news. Please let it happen! That would be so fricking awesome.
- Actually Sci Fi Wire had a couple of fist-pumpingly exciting bits of news for us this morning - apparently AMC is going to be airing a new "Prisoner" TV series, along with episodes of the fantastic original series. Woo hoo!
- Amazon ran a random drawing for a Wii and PS3 last week, which we totally would have told you about if we'd heard about it in time, but as they point out at Game|Life, people were probably deliberately not spreading the information around, in the hopes that it would increase their chances of winning. Anyway, you can now see your actual chances of winning at Amazon's site, listed along with your chances of doing other things - like getting hemorrhoids, or getting hit by an asteroid. Awesome. (Via) Oh, and if you didn't win, keep in mind that Toys R Us is claiming they will have more of both consoles available before Christmas - although you might want to take that with a grain of salt.
More after the jump...
- Cinematical has a fun list of Christmas action movies for us.
- The Radiophon-a-tron brings the weird and delightful sounds of "Doctor Who" - like the mouse organ, yay! - straight to your desktop. Thanks, BBC! You guys rock. (Via)
- Katamari Damacy on Wii?! Oh please, oh please, oh please!
- Speaking of Wii, check out the winner and runners-up of the Celebrity Mii Contest that kottke was running. They're all absolutely fantastic - and the vision of David Foster Wallace playing Wii Tennis is just perfect.
- This Phillyist doesn't even like Betty & Veronica - never read it, know pretty much nothing about it - but even we are absolutely disgusted and horrified by the incredibly bland and lame new contemporary look they've applied to the comic. Ugh!
- A German company is developing a spray-on condom. Brilliant!
- Apparently Miss USA was spotted making out with Miss Teen USA in a club. Um...Miss USA FTW!!!!

That Archie redesign really is abhorrent, isn't it?
Indeed. I'm not sure I liked Archie's style and personality before, but at least it had style and personality.
