What's new and/or interesting on television this week.
Election Coverage (Tue; Practically all night; Many stations) - Yes, Tuesday is election day, which means endless TV coverage of the progress of all the various races, and plenty of talking heads blathering on on the subject of various "what if" questions. But at least it also means we won't have to deal with these damn political ads anymore.
Independent Lens (Tue; 10PM-11PM; WLVT) - There's always something interesting on Independent Lens. This week, it's an hour long special on Pulitzer Prize winning political cartoonist Paul Conrad, narrated by Tom Brokaw. (Link)
Lost (Wed; 9PM-10PM; ABC) - Lost fans, make sure to tune in for this one; it's the last new episode you're going to see for 13 weeks. Argh! Anyway, in this one Kate fears for Sawyer's life, and Locke finds yet another clue that he hopes will help him unravel the secret of the island (and we all hope so, too). (Link)
Secret Lives of Sleepwalkers (Wed; 10PM-11PM; TLC) - Sleepwalkers in action, and the science of sleep! Sweet.
2006 MTV Europe Music Awards (Director's Cut) (Fri; 9PM-10PM; MTV) - A terse, "best of," edited version of the European MTV award ceremony, which is hosted by Mister Sexy Back himself, Justin Timerlake, and features performances by Diddy, Nelly Furtado, Keane, the Killers, Muse, and...well, what do you know? Justin Timberlake! (Link)
Up Close and Dangerous (Sat; 10PM-10:30PM; Animal Planet) - A half hour of stuff we would never do: a photographer tying to take a head-on picture of a running cheetah, and an underwater cameraman testing shark repellant. We say, always let someone else test the shark repellant. Then use it yourself, if that guy is still alive.
