• Check out an episode of "Crusader Rabbit," one of the first, if not the first, TV cartoon show. The animation is pretty primitive, the jokes are rather corny, and the whole plotline of wanting to destroy the entire state of Texas is a little questionable (although not entirely without merit...), but still - it's an interesting piece of cartoon history. • This is a pretty incredible resource: Cover Browser. It supposedly contains over 10,000 comic book covers for your perusal. Neat-o! (Via)
• Colbert tries to explain Santorum and the Senator's recent metaphor comparing the war in Iraq to The Lord of the Rings. We won't go into much more detail, except to say that models and action figures come to play in his explanation. Hey, we've totally got that troll figure on our desk right now! (Via)
• We pointed you toward part one of the Legend of Zelda retrospective video on Game Trailers, so it's only fair we now point you toward the recently uploaded part two, which features A Link to the Past and Link's Awakening.
• So, who did they get to write the Hellraiser remake, you ask? Some Hollywood hack, no doubt. Well, no, actually: it's Clive Barker himself! Huh. Well, that might work.
