• We're finding it kind of mind-blowing that Reuters opened a bureau inside the game Second Life. This means they have a character in the game who gives news updates to other game players, and they also keep track of news events that occur in the game and report them to those of us outside, via this website. Like, woah.
• Okay, we all know cable TV is a gaping maw of stupidity, and that it's probably bad for your head, but now there's a study (with some of its data collected from right here in PA) that says it may actually be causing autism in kids. Good lord. (Via)

• Remember that contest we told you about where you could write a line of dialogue that Optimus Prime would say in the upcoming Transformers movie? Well, the top 100 lines have been selected and voting has begun. And if you submitted a line yourself, your vote will even count for something! A quick look over the submissions reveals a high percentage of cheesiness, and poor spelling and grammar, but some are pretty clever; for instance, we rather like "I must break you." Heh heh. (Via)
