Not every writer can hone their craft at an Ivy League institution (heaven knows this Phillyist didn't - and our spelling and grammar has "state college" written all over it) - but after this weekend nearly any local writers can say they studied writing at an Ivy League school - at least temporarily - thanks to the 12th Annual Writers Conference at Penn.
Running this Saturday and Sunday, the conference offers the public a chance to take "a la carte workshops and master classes that can be selected by topic and time according to writer's needs. Workshops are 2 hours in length while master classes are 4 hours. Both workshops and master classes are available Saturday and Sunday."
The conference takes place in Logan Hall, and there is a registration fee of $25. More info here.
