Two local police dispatchers have allegedly crossed the Thin Blue Line by selling the names and addresses of suspected drug dealers to a would-be-robber. Only the erstwhile robber was, in fact, a government informant.

More recent shootings means we might exceed last year's homicide count.

Tomorrow is "The World Can't Wait" protest, when " people everywhere will walk out of school, take off work, and come to the downtowns & townsquares" to march against the Bush Administration. You can get details about the Philadelphia protest on their myspace page. (via)

The Philadelphia Daily News and The Legal Intelligencer are off the hook in a libel case involving rap music, an unfortunate rhyme, and a couple's "consortium", thanks to the Supreme Court. Phillyist finds it difficult to believe that with a name like "Tucker" - the song in question was the first time the plaintiff's husband had been subjected to that particular R-rated rhyme.
