The shapeless dough of the internet, formed into tasty pellets and baked to perfection, just for you.

- We mentioned the Grumpy Freak Show to you a while back; it's an art show displaying many Grumpy Bear vinyl dolls customized by artists into all kinds of cool shapes and characters. Well, the show's blog put up a great photo post on Friday with tons of pictures from the show (gotta love those Star Wars bears, especially Grumpy the Hutt there), and photos of all the bears are now up on Flickr. Remember, if you see anything you really love, you can always try to put a bid in on it! It's for charity, after all.
- Chris Kohler at Game|Life is back in Japan again, and happened to notice a huge crowd around a Taiko Drum Master machine (they're apparently up to number 8 already over there) while strolling through Akihabara. Turns out there was a freaking crazy Taiko Drum Master master performing there, playing the hardest song in the game in two-player mode by himself, using his own drumsticks which he had brought with him for the occasion. Watch the rather impressive video here. (Via)
- We present to you the Zippo camera lighter. Sure, it only takes VGA pics at 640 x480 res, but who cares?! It's a lighter with a camera in it. That's awesome! The camera's 64MB of memory can hold 30 photos, it runs on 1 AAA battery, and connects up to your PC via USB. Dare we say...that's hot?!
More after the jump...
- It's the first level of Super Mario Bros. 3 rendered into video using some magical combination of stop-motion animation, LEGO, and CGI. It's really just like watching somebody play the game. It's very hard to even tell there are LEGO bricks involved. Pretty astounding. And apparently this is only the first of many videos of this type that are going to be posted on this site, which is called BitFlicks. (Via)
- Okay, yeah: these FingerForks are just creepy. We just imagine somebody wearing one on every finger. Then we imagine that turning into the next B-movie slasher flick...
- Cinematical asked an important question on Monday: who should play the young Kirk and Spock in the upcoming Star Trek prequel movie? They got few serious responses in the comments. For our part, we're having a hard time thinking of anybody, although The Prestige duo might work (Hugh Jackman as Kirk, Christian Bale as Spock). What about you folks?

Well, I'd say Crispin Glover as Spock. He'd bring a whole new dimension to the character. But Kirk? Nobody but Shatner, baby.
A whole new dimension indeed! A Crispin Glover Spock would definitely be something to see. "Captain Kirk, you are my density."
