  • Have you heard of Daily Lit? It's kind of like reading a book via RSS feed. You pick from their list of classic public domain books (yeah, this is even legal and everything!), select a time, and enter your email address. Then, whenever you scheduled it, you'll receive a chunk of the book in an email. Good deal. (Via)
  • We love Chris's Invincible Super-Blog, because it brings to light the important lost classics of comic book history - like, that comic where a gorilla in a haunted tank kills a bunch of Nazis. To quote from Chris's synopsis: "Never before and never since has there been a comic book panel so pure and beautiful as a mad gorilla beating the living hell out of a group of Nazis until he's the last one left standing." Word. (Btw, another reason why we love CISB is this post right here.)
  • Something Awful has helpfully created a quiz that will help you determine whether you should really form that band or not. Thusly SA hopes to halt the formation of yet more pointless and terrible bands. The quiz is hilarious, and reveals a surprising amount about the musical tastes of its author. (Via)

More after the jump...

  • We present to you the Phoenix Wrong movies, a series of hilarious Flash parodies of the quirky Nintendo DS lawyer game Phoenix Wright. Some familiarity with the game would probably make these even funnier, but really they're quite funny without. (Via)
  • We have heard multiple people decry the Caps Lock key, and how it just sits there, lying in wait for the unsuspecting typist, scheming to suddenly turn his polite, average, everyday email into a bunch of crazed screaming. Well, for those people, waNOCAPS is here to help. It's a free registry patch that turns your Cap Lock key into a third Ctrl key. And just in case you change your mind, it also comes with another patch that will reverse the process. (Via)
  • Holy crud! Looks like this is kind of old news, but we only just read it: every single Segway ever has been recalled due to a glitch that can cause the wheels to suddenly reverse direction and throw the rider. Apparently someone broke some teeth. Yeah, so why were those things supposed to be so cool again? We never really go that. (Via)
  • A couple of quick video game news updates: we've got the latest Guitar Hero II track list here, and the official word that the Nintendo Wii will not be region free after all.

Every time I see Avenged Sevenfold in the same list as bands like Rush, Skynyrd, the Stones and GnR, it's like a tiny icicle of hate gets shoved deep into my innards.

Ah heh heh heh. Well, I guess they felt obligated to give a nod to the "Nu Metal." It can't be all songs from 30 years ago or earlier. Although, I suspect Avenged Sevenfold would get the automatic fail at some point if they took the Something Awful quiz further up this post...
