Go Back to School with Sex Dwarf: This month, the 80's New Wave Dance Party is highlighting the "ABC's of New Wave." (ABC, B-52s, INXS, etc). Dress in your favorite school uniforms. Fluid Nightclub (614 S. 4th Street). Doors open at 9, admission is free until 10 - and then $5 thereafter.

Philadelphia Doo Wop Festival: A day of Doo Wop to raise money for The Philadelphia Veterans Multi-Service & Education Center, Inc. . 2-7 PM on The Great Plaza at Penn's Landing. $10 (admission for kids 12 & under is free).
The Guatemalan Handshake: Free screening of The Guatemalan Handshake at The International House (3701 Chestnut Street). We won't even try to give you a synopsis of the synopsis, except that we expect it is rife withWacky Hijinks. You can read the synopsis here. The screening is at 7PM.
