Storytelling the Old Fashioned Way - With Alcohol

Girls_Whispering.JPG

Phillyist got an email from a friend letting us know that there's a new, regular storytelling event in town: The Circle Storytelling Series. The concept? People get together at a local watering hole and swap stories. (Kind of like people used to do in the Days of Yore, before blogs.) Nifty. Heck, if we were the type confident enough to tell a story without a keyboard and monitor between ourselves and our audience, we might even give it a try.

There is a Circle Storytelling event this Saturday Night at 8PM at Bar Noir (112 S. 18th Street), with Nicole McEwan, CA Conrad, Sean Stevens and Keith Kessler slated to entertain with their tales. Note, too, that there are a couple of open mic spots for those of you brave enough to get up and tell your own story (so long as you can do so in 10 minutes or less.).
