We're Ready for Our Close Up

By way of Attytood, Phillyist learned that Philadelphia is being bandied about as a possible location for next year's blogging extravaganza, Yearly KOS. And whereas the possibility that influential, impassioned political bloggers might storm the area next year is an exciting one and sure, we're pleased that one of the detractor's complaints is that there's too much to see and do here, Phillyist is more tickled by the fact that one commenter referred to Philly as being akin to "the Hollywood of the blogosphere." Time to dig out our paparazzi-fooling sunglasses and our $17,000 flip-flops.

Our new-found Tinsel Internet Town status does beg two questions, however: (1) If we're the Hollywood of the blogosphere, which Philly blogger is our Angelina Jolie? and (2) Where the hell in this town are we all supposed to find room to park our Escalades?
