What's new and/or interesting on TV this week.

Vanished (Mon; 9PM-10PM; Fox) - The pilot episode for a new series focusing on an FBI investigation into the disappearance of a senator's wife. A TV reporter played by Rebecca Gayheart seems to be the main character. No doubt she'll figure out the whole mystery way before the FBI. (Link)

Monday Night Football: Cowboys vs. Saints (Mon; 8PM-11PM; ESPN) - We're tempted to watch, in the hopes that somebody will plough TO into the ground. (Link)

Concert for America's Kids (Tue; 8PM-9PM; CBS) - A special concert, hosted by Phil and Robin McGraw, to raise awareness for the JC Penney Afterschool Fund. Includes performances by Mary J. Blige, Sting, Andrea Bocelli, Jon Bon Jovi, Kenny Chesney, and 3 Doors Down, amongst others. (Link)

Dirty Jobs (Tue; 9PM-10PM; Discovery) - This time, amongst various other dirty jobs, Mike Rowe mucks out the hippo stall at the Adventure Aquarium down by the waterfront. He sure does find a lot of filthy things to do around here! (Link)

Time Machine (Tue; 8PM-10PM; History) - This special two-hour episode takes an in-depth look at the Egyptian funerary texts collectively known as the Book of the Dead. (Link)
