
- Seattle is jealous of us! Well, sort of: The Seattle Times has a nice editorial about how our city is a great green sponge. Meaning we're doing a not so bad job trying to protect the environment and our water. Yay!
- Apparently some folks in New Jersey are pretending to be farmers - by owning a horse or two, or mowing a little hay in their spare time - in order to receive breaks on their property taxes. "Garden State" indeed...
- One of the guys who got fired off "The Apprentice" is running as a Republican for the 13th district congressional seat?? We had no idea. Is our entire government going to be run by TV and movie personalities soon? Anyway, this guy wants more homeland security funds to put more cops on the streets and says, "If you want to preserve Montgomery County, you need to save Philadelphia." Huh. That actually sounds rather sane...
- Everybody's got a blog these days - even the superintendent of the North Penn School District. Well, they claim it's a blog, anyway; it doesn't look much like one to us. See for yourself here.
- An unattended candle really can start a fire - even a nice scented one. Beware, folks!
