As if the Philly Police weren't having PR problems enough with the recent rise in violent crime, The Philadelphia Inquirer is reporting that some local officers have been convicted of commiting sex crimes on the job. The Inky article goes on to say that Philadelphia "isn't unusal" in this:
Hundreds of police officers across the country have turned from protectors to predators, using the power of their badge to extort sex, an Inquirer review shows.
Somehow, that doesn't make us feel any better.



See, I told you the Philadelphia Police was a corrupt criminal organization. This is somewhat shocking, though, since it actually involved cops doing something away from their box of doughnuts.
