Phillyist Sports Wants You!

The Phillyist sports department has been running into a bit of a problem lately. In our continuing quest to write sanely about Philadelphia sports as much as possible, we have been struggling to find photos that aren't copyrighted so we can use them here on the site. To be even more blunt about it, we don't want to get sued by anyone. So all those great photos out there on Flickr that are labeled "All Rights Reserved" are off-limits.

But you can do something to help us solve this quandary, and maybe even get your name in lights on a Phillyist post. If you have photos on your Flickr page you'd like to share, tag them with "Phillyist Sports" (put the whole thing in quotes) and change the copyright restriction to the Creative Commons license of your choice. You'll be famous, and we won't have to use the same three pictures of Ryan Howard or a small group of Phillies fans over and over and over and over again.

If you go to the tag page now, you will see that we put a batch in there to start with. But we need more, especially of things not related to the Phillies and college basketball. So we hope you'll help us out!
