  • We originally read about a Monty Python/Star Trek mash-up on Table of Malcontents, but by the time we got to the post, the YouTube link was no good. We obviously had to see this movie, though, so we eventually tracked it down on Devil Ducky. It's the old chestnut where they edit footage from something else into what is essentially a music video for the Camelot song from Holy Grail. But this one is really quite good, and anyway, it's Star Trek and Python, together at last!
  • Speaking of Star Trek, there's a neat teaser poster for the upcoming J. J. Abrams movie available for your viewing right here. (Via)
  • In honor of ComicCon, Wired presents a gallery of cool old comic book covers. Thor bless them. And hey, it's Bender!

  • Speaking of ComicCon, Quentin Tarantino used the occasion to announce yet more future projects for himself, these being a prequel and a sequel to Kill Bill - and both will be animated. Neat! But finish Grind House first, dude.
  • And still speaking of ComicCon, here's a video of a panel talk with the cast of "Battlestar Galactic," and it's quite funny, partly because everybody's obviously having a ton of fun (except maybe the poor woman trying to run the panel). Oh, and don't worry, there are zero spoilers, because they're not allowed.
  • This preview of the new Force powers in a next gen Star Wars game is so fricking awesome and hardcore that we had to pick our jaw up off the floor after watching it. Looks like we might have to keep playing Star Wars games after all... (Via)
  • Bonus! Kevin Smith on Tim Burton. FUNN-EE! (Via)
