Beta Hi-Fi Music Festival Kick Off: World Cafe launches their Beta Hi-Fi Music Festival and Showcase with a free evening of music, with Franzschubert and the Schubbs. 7:30 PM at the World Cafe (3025 Walnut Street). (Also, check out the Upstairs Live schedule for free performances related to the festival all week long.)

Movie Monday at The Troc: This week, be prepared to be Mr. Pink (someone has to be); it's Reservoir Dogs. $3 admission, applicable towards concession. Doors open at 6, the show starts at 8, and you must be 21+ to attend. The Troc is located at 1003 Arch Street.

Monday Night Club: This week is Danny Ozark's Notebooks - an open mic "for frank sexual talk from all manner of spoken word artist and comedian, straight/gay/black/white/bi/trans." Free at Bar Noir (112 S. 18th Street) at 9PM.
