The best of the internet, squirted out in flavorful neon globules, just for you.
We know we've been plugging Michel Gondry's next movie, The Science of Sleep, pretty hard here, but...it just looks so cool! We already linked you to photos from the movie, and then a clip from the movie; now we give you the official trailer. We can't wait until we can see the whole actual film! (Via)
A bonus list today, because this one is so terrible we needed to link to it to vent our frustration. MSN claims to be showing us the top ten best superhero movies here, but they are sadly mistaken. We like Superman II, but it's by no means a good movie. Same for Inframan. Hellboy and Spider-Man are okay, but we were never as crazy about them as everybody else. As for the other choices...Spy Kids?! And Darkman?! Seriously, Darkman is just terrible. And if you're going to pick a Batman movie, why in God's name would you pick Batman Returns?! That one wasn't as totally awful as Batman Forever and Batman and Robin (at least they got things right when they picked that one as the worst superhero movie ever; there's a list of those beyond the link, too, which is otherwise also pretty questionable - Hulk wasn't that bad!), but Batman Begins is obviously far superior. In fact, we'd probably replace X-Men in the top spot with BB. (Via)
A Ukrainian diplomat connected with the UN was discovered to have a live chimpanzee in his baggage when leaving Sierra Leone last year. And no, he wasn't supposed to have one. However, when officials called him on it, he just claimed diplomatic immunity and walked off with the chimp. And apparently this wasn't just a single, random occurrence; trafficking in endangered wildlife is a growing problem amongst UN staff and other diplomats. That's weird stuff. (Via)

Spy Kids is out, Superman II is out. Superman (the first one) is in. Darkman stays, though, because it was fantastic, and you're utterly wrong for maligning it.
Ah, now I can safely stop listening to you about any of your film opinions. Anyone who thinks Darkman is fantastic is obviously completely insane.
"Man, was that game annoying." Well that wasn't very professional of you. Miyamoto changed the gaming world with Donkey Kong. Then he saved the gaming world from all those Atari clones with Super Mario Bros. Super Mario 64, annoying or not, redefined the video game world in the third dimension. The next innovation hasn't happend yet... maybe with Wii...?
I forgive you... this time.
I know, the 3D thing and all. But there were other, better 3D games! Still, I guess SM64 was the one that really brought 3D to the masses, in style. Maybe I'm just bitter because I was no good at the game...
Thanks for the forgiveness, anyway. :)
Looking forward to the Wii revolution!
