• Ah, morbid game geek humor.
• The inevitable (as Table of Malcontents points out) Star Wars/Monty Python mash-up video. It could be better, but it's fun, and there's some impressive sound editing work (at least on the sound effects). And anyway it's obviously a must-see - it's Star Wars and Monty Python! (Via)
• Super-creepy music video retrospective of William Shatner's early work, focusing mainly on him making weird faces, and alternately beating up or making out with various ladies. We do believe we recognize one or more clips from the awful The Devil's Rain in there... (Via)
• We definitely like this game Dice Wars. Really, pretty much as soon as we saw the title we figured we would, because we love playing games where you fight with dice. What can we say, we're geeks! Anyways, this one's kind of like Risk, but made casual, quick, and simple. Game play is straightforward and you have very few decisions to make on your turn, but there's still plenty of strategy and difficulty involved. It's a great way to waste your lunch hour.
• If you have an ape friend and you want him or her to have the right to life and freedom, just ship him or her right on over to Spain, where the parliament either will soon or already has declared support for the Great Ape Project, which recognizes that the great apes are part of a community of equals with humanity. It's the first time, as far as most folks know, that a national legislature has done such a thing. Now that we've got the apes taken care of, we might want to think about trying to treat people better...
• And to finish things up...how about a gold-plated vibrator? It's a great gift for yourself or a loved one! Also, it's very pretty.
