Frugal Fun Alert: Thursday

Fun around town, for $10 or less:

The Tell-Tale Heart: Grover Silcox performs Poe's The Tell-Tale Heart at Eastern State Pen (2124 Fairmount Ave). 5:30PM $10.

Opera on the Square: There's almost always music going on in Rittenhouse Square - but rarely is it opera. Tonight as part of the ongoing "America's Birthday" celebrations, you can enjoy an open air performance of arias from 6:30-8:30 PM in the park.

Music at Milkboy: Kyle Justin and Chris D'Esposito play Milkboy Coffee (2 E. Lancaster Ave) at 8:30 PM. $7

Puppet Karaoke: Just what the name says. $5 at The M-Room (15 W. Girard)

Got a frugal tip? Don't be stingy! Send it here and share the wealth!

Arias punctuated by thunder?

The fat lady singing in the rain?

Polluted water pounding down on and through widestretched lips emitting melody?

A wet T-shirt contest (for both the ladies and the big guys with bitch tits)?

And a wet crotch contest for the men?
