As of this writing, I-95 northbound is shutdown at Route 420 and all traffic must exit there due to a multi-vehicle accident involving a trash truck. The truck was travelling south along 95 when it jumped the median, struck two cars, and slammed into the sound wall, spilling trash all over the highway as it went. The wet conditions are slowing rescue and cleanup efforts; supposedly 95 North is jammed for six miles approaching the scene of the accident. Unfortunately, current reports also say that three people died in the crash.
We'll try to keep you updated.
