A tall, icy glass of our favorite internet junk, just for you.

- Wired's Game|Life blog revels - and we revel along with them - in the text of a wonderful federal injunction just issued against a recent Louisiana state bill banning violent video games from minors. The thing is basically nothing more than a lengthy and truly awesome put-down in legalese - a sort of judicial "yo momma." The central point:
The Act is devoid of any legislative finding or underlying evidence that the video games covered by the Act are directed to and likely to cause imminent violent action -- and nor could such a showing be made, as every court to have considered the issue has concluded.
Word. - Speaking of violent video games...there's nothing like chopping Boy Scouts to bloody pieces with a sword while the sweet sounds of heavy metal wash over you. If you agree, you'll probably enjoy Stag Knight. Just look out for when the Boy Scouts start showing up with laser guns and lightsabers. That's about when we got killed. Oh, and as the "bloody pieces" bit should have suggested, this is not exactly SFW. The Scouts scream pretty loudly for some reason when you cut their guts out. (Via)
- Android 207 is a very neat short film, often funny, but mostly just really creepy, which we interpret as an examination of how torturous the lives of video game characters would be if they really existed. (Via)
