In case the oppressive heat wasn't reminder enough - let Phillyist re-iterate for you: SUMMER IS HERE, in all it's sticky, humid glory. To celebrate, the Kimmel Center will be offering 19 hours of entertainment this weekend, beginning with a performance by the Philadelphia Orchestra at 11AM on Saturday, ending with a drum circle come 5AM Sunday morning, with all sorts of stuff in between.
One can only hope that with all this music and welcoming in of the new season, that some sort of air-conditioning will be involved.
