Usually, when Elite -ist doesn't get done, it's our own damn fault. Not so yesterday! As you may have noticed, we were having some technical difficulties yesterday that put our server out of commission for a good eighteen hours. We wanted to bring you Elite -ist, we just couldn't. So here's a double-long for your perusal:
Austinist: Elite -ist's home state is smelly.
Gothamist: The unit was loosened by some local hoodlums who were carving "RELAX" into the back of it.

Shanghaiist has a thing for uptight, assertive government employees.
Chicagoist: Nobody cares about history anymore.

Houstonist: Not only can you book your tickets, but now you can reserve your slot in the Mile High Club!
Miamist: It's kinda like in Donnie Darko.
DCist: "Gay" is just a disease. Like a cold. Only easier to treat.
Londonist: Those funny hats they wear at Buckingham Palace? Soon, they'll be made of live chimpanzees.
Austinist: In France, she might have been encouraged to teach naked.
Gothamist: Fat babies aren't breastfed.
SFist: Just what everyone always wanted: an HIV-testing lab right in your own back yard!
Bostonist: BEER. BEEEEEEEEER.
Shanghaiist: Tom Cruise has finally made it to China. Kind of.
Chicagoist: Chicago police are trigger-happy.
LAist: The president is insensitive toward the handicapped. Surprise!
Seattlest: Pledge drives suck, but a station's gotta do what a station's gotta do.
Houstonist: You might not know who this is, but it made us really really sad.
Miamist: Who said life doesn't imitate art?
DCist actually watched Commander in Chief.
Londonist: So that's why squirrels are so friendly!
